Directions
Preparing the Koftas (कोफ्ते तैयार करें):
In a mixing bowl, combine grated paneer, all-purpose flour, green chili, coriander leaves
- garam masala, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt.
- Mix well to form a smooth, firm dough. If the mixture feels too loose, add a little more flour to bind.
- Divide the mixture into small portions and shape into smooth balls. Ensure there are no cracks.
- Heat oil in a deep pan and fry the koftas on medium heat until golden brown and crisp.
- Remove and set aside.
Preparing the Gravy (ग्रेवी तैयार करें):
Heat oil or ghee in a pan over medium heat and add cumin seeds, red chili.
- Add onion paste and sauté.
- Stir in ginger-garlic paste and cook for 1-2 minutes. Add tomato puree and cook until the oil separates.
- Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, and salt. Mix well and sauté for 2-3 minutes until fragrant.
- Add water to adjust the consistency of the gravy. Let it simmer for 5 minutes.

- Let the koftas absorb the flavors for 5-7 minutes. Avoid overcooking to prevent them from breaking.
