बथुआ साग | Bathua Greens (washed and chopped) - 2 cups

Directions
Adding Lentils and Greens (दाल और साग डालें):
Add the washed masoor dal to the cooker along with 2 cups of water. Mix well.
- Stir in the chopped bathua greens, tomatoes and combine thoroughly.
Seasoning and Cooking (पकाने की प्रक्रिया):
Add salt and turmeric powder to taste and mix well. If needed, add a little extra water to adjust the consistency.
- Add water and close the pressure cooker lid and cook on medium heat for 3-4 whistles, or until the lentils are soft and the greens are well blended.
- Once the pressure subsides, open the cooker and stir the dal saag well.
Preparing the Tempering (तड़का तैयार करें):
Heat ghee, then add cumin seeds and red chili for tempering.
Serving ( परोसें):
Serve hot with steamed rice, jeera rice, or roti for a wholesome and comforting meal.
